Nice to see that 5 of the 8 acts are Opry members, and nice to see Vince continue his string of Opry appearances.

For those not familiar with The Secret Sisters, they are outstanding and worth checking out.
If I do my math right, tonight Bill Anderson will be celebrating his 54th year as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Congratulations to Bill.
ReplyDeleteI believe Bill is now second only to Jean Shepard in continuous service, since Stonewall, who came in 1956, went in the purge of 1964 and didn't come back as a member until 1969. And he has been truly loyal throughout his career.
ReplyDeleteGreat news about saturdays Opry: Jean Shepard is on the lineup to return to the Opry stage, after being away for so long. Also, Ray Pillow and Jan Howard are back this weekend. I hope the lineup stays this way.
