Tuesday Night Opry 6.7

It is CMA Music Fest week in Nashville and as usual, the "unofficial" start to the week of music is the Tuesday Night Opry. Traditionally, it is one of the better Tuesday Opry shows and most years, this one included, has featured an appearance by Carrie Underwood. She is scheduled for both shows. Here is the entire line-up

1st show
7:00: Darius Rucker; Jeannie Seely
7:30: Chris Janson; Charles Esten
8:00: Bill Anderson; Little Big Town
8:30: Carrie Underwood

2nd show
9:30: Darius Rucker; Jeannie Seely
10:00: Carrie Underwood
10:30: Charles Esten; Lindsay Ell
11:00: Bill Anderson; Chris Janson

Two very nice shows to get the week started.

  1. Great first Opry show, especially Chris Janson. He is just electric on stage and as usual he had his audience right in the palm of his hands and they gifted him with a standing ovation. All artists were terrific.

And one day, I will get back down to Nashville, not necessarily for Fan Fair but for Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam - this is the 15th year of his Jam and I've never been there. The last year I attended Fan Fair, was the first year "downtown." Did not care for it and never returned, though the concept is wonderful. It was so great when held at the fairgrounds.

    1. I have been to the Late Night Jam the last 2 years and purchased my tix for next year at the event. Great show. Left at 1:15 to catch our shuttle and it was still going strong.

  2. The second show was great also. Chris Janson tore down the house as he closed out the 2nd show.
