  2. Bobby Bare back at the Opry is one of the best things that has happened in ages. I wish the Opry would have extended this reinstatement courtesy to other legends as well. Faron Young, Ferlin Husky, Kitty Wells and Earl Scruggs all come to mind. All were Nashville based and would have been there often and would have added to the show.

  3. I was at the Bobby Bare/Bill Anderson concert over the weekend and all I can say is WOW! I've seen Bobby on a package show before where he sang a couple of songs but never seen his full show. It was an hour of one iconic song after another with his dry humor in between. Bill made some very nice comments about Bobby being back at the Opry when he called him back out at the end of his show. Then they both signed autographs after the show. Time is catching up on them and they move a little slower but for a pair of men in their 80s it was FANTASTIC. Run don't walk if they come to your town. Kudos to Sally Williams for bringing Bobby back home to the Opry!!

  4. I agree with the statement above. Bobby won the crowd at Hinton Saturday night. Sang his best songs, mixed with humor. He and Bill Anderson work well together on tour.
The song” I wonder if God likes Country music” won the crowd for Bill. James Freeze and Kenzie Wetz did an unbelievable vocal part. It was worth the price of the show to hear it. So pleased Bobby is frequently returning to the Opry.
