I was impressed. I still think some of the kinks should be worked out--they could have perhaps one fewer artist and give someone else a little more time to work with. Larry Gatlin was clearly having fun, and I thought it was great when he took gospel requests from the audience. They almost needed to grab a hook and get The Potato (Hank Snow called The Tater that, and I must honor Mr. Snow) off of there--he was having a good time. I think this is definitely a winner, though I'd like to see them include an Opry Oldtimer segment and invite in one former member a week to do maybe two or three of their hits.Michael Greennoreply@blogger.com
