I'll add a lot of his music wasn't exactly my kind of music, but there's no question that he was a great musician and entertainer.<br /><br />It's also interesting to think about it this way: he first played the Opry in the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of the Earl Scruggs Revue, and Scruggs went back on the Opry to that night in 1945.
