Tuesday Night Opry 3/3

Here is the line-up for the Tuesday Night Opry, March 3

7:00: Craig Morgan; Matt Stell
7:30: Dailey & Vincent; Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots
Intermission
8:15: Tommy Emmanuel; Dustin Lynch
8:45: The Isaacs; Trace Adkins

A nice looking show with 4 of the 8 artists being Opry members.

Wonder if they will tape Bobby Bones and have his performance a part of The Circle's Opry show? After all, he is the host.

  1. Who do you guys see going into the Hall of Fame this year?. My final predictions for this year's inductees are:

    Veterans Era: Tanya Tucker

    Modern Era: The Judds

I'm so looking forward to the announcement and I can't wait to see who gets inducted this year.

  2. Wonder how many of our musical friends were effected by the tornado's over night. Reported as EF3 at some point. North side of town hit and reported there is some damage downtown away from the main path.

  3. Sort of sad, really.
Terry Bradshaw sounded a lot better last night than a whole bunch of the young acts I've heard on the 'Opry lately.
Of course, having the Isaacs backing you up doesn't hurt!

  4. country rhodes, there were some artists who may have been affected. East Nashville near the Five Points area was heavily affected. I believe Pam Tillis lives in that general area, but not certain how close. She has not tweeted since Monday. East Nashville and Germantown are home to a lot of the aspiring singers in the city, of all genres.

The Basement East, a small music venue was destroyed. I know Ashley Campbell has played there before, as I'm sure other acts that have played the Opry. A concert there to promote Super Tuesday had just wrapped up shortly before the storm hit, but there were no casualties there.

A nearby bar, Atta-Boys, had an employee and her boyfriend who were killed as they were leaving the establishment and were hit by flying debris.

  5. Patrick,

Thanks for that info. My brother saw where Bill Anderson posted on Facebook that he was okay but a lot of people were hurting and there was a lot of damage. Said he was still in the dark which was yesterday afternoon when 50k were still without power. He ask for prayers for the folks all across middle Tennessee!
