Here is the lineup for the Tuesday Night Opry:
7:00: T. Graham Brown, Anna Vaus, Jason Eady, Del McCoury Band
Intermission
8:20: Bill Anderson, Randall King, Leftover Salmon, Lauren Alaina
This will be the Opry debut for Leftover Salmon, who is a legendary Jamband that plays the festival circuit. While I have never seen the group in person, my wife has several times, and she has high praise for them.
Thursday night will be the final Opry Country Classics show for 2024. Larry Gatlin returns as host. Appearing on Thursday night will be the Gatlin Brothers, Gene Watson, Rhonda Vincent, Wade Hayes and Jillian Jacqueline.
I commend the Opry staff for continuing to have on new and unique acts ! I have never heard of Leftover Salmon, but I’m looking forward to it! Maybe they’ll gain some nee fans tonight.
ReplyDeleteI continue to forget weeknight shows. After years of anticipating and listening to Friday and Saturday night shows I just can't get used to it. I can think about it an hour before then three hours later I remember.
ReplyDeleteThat said, did Bill Anderson appear last night and what did he sing?
Thanks,
Jim
Jim, if you can't get used to the weeknight shows now, just wait until 2025 when there will be some weeks with shows every night!!!!! For what it is worth, I even find it hard to listen some nights.
DeleteBill sang a song about song writers, a new song "The Last One I'll Forget, introduced his GodSon to the audience, and closed with "Wherever She Is I Hope She Stays There" as his last song.
ReplyDeletePoor Bill can still entertain and is great with a crowd, but he carries a tune just like Grandpa Jones did in his later years, if you know what I mean.
Side note: Jason Edy can flat sing country music. I really enjoyed him.
Thanks for the information Nat.
