I know this will be a funny and a pretty good show with Ray Stevens. Other than Mike Snider, I don't know how funny the others will be, but it should be a good show. If they were going for humor, I would have loved to have seen Jean Shepard and Jimmy Dickens as part of the show. They both are known for some pretty good jokes on the Opry.

ReplyDeleteWill the Opry Country Classics show be streamed on the internet this Thursday? I assume it will be!?
ReplyDeleteIt should be as it is part of WSM's broadcast schedule.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Dickens has cancelled out for tonight's Tuesday Night Opry and was replaced by John Conlee. Hope it is nothing more than wanting to save his voice for this weekend. He is scheduled to be in Wheeling, West Virginia on Saturday night with Jim Ed Brown and others for a big WWVA Jamboree USA anniversary show. Jim Ed had a posting on his Facebook page today about making the trip to Wheeling in a bus with Jimmy.
