The are two Opry shows on Tuesday, the regular Tuesday Night Opry and for the second week in a row, a holiday matinee. The line-ups for both shows are the same:

and wow, I recognize THREE names - yikes, how much do those tickets cost?
ReplyDeleteI am very nervous about the future direction of WSM and the 'Opry.
DeleteBill and Charlie (my radio heroes on WSM) always play a song from the last night's 'Opry performance.
The last two have been Keb Moe and Delta Rae, neither of whom are what I would classify as country music, let alone traditional country music.
When you have something that is working for a select group of people and try to expand it to include everybody, in time you're not really anything to anybody.
Whisperin Bill Anderson will be on WSM tomorrow night with Eddie Stubbs at 8:00 PM CT. They will be talking about and playing songs from Bill's new cd "Anderson." Bob
