A couple of notes: 

9 Opry members on the 3 shows with Mark Wills the only repeat. 

This week marks the return of Opry Country Classics, which will be on the schedule for most Thursday nights through October. Larry Gatlin returns as the host for the fall run. While I did not see it noted anywhere, it would appear that Lorrie Morgan will be the spotlight artist this week. 

Interesting to see Pat Boone making an appearance. He has appeared on the Opry a few times and he has a new country album set for release in early September. The title is Country Jubilee which is a collection of classic hits and new material. The album will mark Pat's 70th year in the music business, and if anyone asks, he is 89 years old. 

John Anderson, Tyler Childers and Margo Price will be appearing on the Tuesday Night Opry. That show appears to be very close to being sold out, while the Wednesday lineup is solid also. 

Speaking of Tuesday night, SG Goodman will be making her Opry debut. Her album Teeth Marks has received wide critical acclaim and was named as one of NPR Music’s 50 Best Albums of 2022, Stereogum’s Best Country Albums of 2022, Rolling Stone’s Best Country and Americana Albums of 2022, among others.   

She is currently nominated by the Americana Music Awards as an Emerging Act of the Year for 2023. She has toured with Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Tyler Childers this year. She’s set to support Margo Price this September, before embarking on a headline tour this October / November. That would explain her appearing on the Opry as both Tyler and Margo Price are on Tuesday's schedule.
