Tonight's Opry Country Christmas show is going to be just great. Asleep at the Wheel AND the Opry's wild child, Chris Janson will be on. I'm disappointed he doesn't get to the Opry as often as he once did, so I really enjoy it when he gets there ... also Jason Crabb, love his voice and Erin Enderlin, she has a good voice and she has been appearing fairly often.
ReplyDeleteI am very happy to see Kathy Mattea appearing on Thursday's Opry Country Christmas show ... I hope we see her appearing many times as time goes on.
John Foster was terrific this past Thursday's Opry Country Christmas show ... he has a great personality and he announced to the listening audience at home, that the Opry gave him an Opry Country Christmas sweater, that was great of the Opry; he said "heck yeah I'm gonna wear it!" He's so funny and I just watched a little video with him announcing that he has played the Opry once a month since he came in second place on American Idol back in June; he was very happy to announce that he will be playing the Opry in January when the Opry celebrates Clint Black's 35 Opry Anniversary, he said that's been on his bucket list to be on the same stage as Clint Black ... he is only 19 y/o, what a great bucket wish list! And I have a feeling that within a year or two he will have the invitation extended to him to become an Opry member.
I read a little while ago that Maddie & Tae are breaking up after 15 years together. They want to raise their children and who will argue with that?
Enjoy all the Opry shows this week everyone ... I plan on listening to every one of them regardless if they are regular Opry show or an Opry Country Christmas show.
